In episode 9, I interview Kayleigh Barnes, who is an old friend I met when I was 18 years old. We both worked in a rock and roll pub, where I lived, and got up to a lot of mischief together. Recently we reconnected through a Facebook sobriety group and the similarities in our experience. Although our social circles had undergone dramatic changes, so did our lifestyles and our priorities. We chat about how Kayleigh's life took a change of direction when she met her fiancé, how her old drinking habits have affected her health and the prospect of having children, which is the next big step in her life.
