I used to be deeply ashamed of my past and the things I did. When I got sober I didn't want to share with others in fear of what they would think. I felt as though if I made my sobriety publish people would judge without knowing my story. Today I've come to realize that my past has made me who I am and that is something I can be proud of. I want to impact the lives of others by sharing my journey in hopes that it will inspire them to realize their past in nothing to be ashamed of. Life had been training me for this very moment. If you are sober or in recovery hold your head high and be proud of who you have become as a result of your past.
