Yea sex is good, but recovery is better.

Remember Katie? I met her a few years ago when she was one of the early members of Team Recovery. Katie was an addict. Now she's succeeding at recovery.

She hit me up and demanded a new episode and here we are. 

Actually, we're here because she hit the skids - as I do and detail in this podcast - over the summer and wanted to let me know where she was and how she got past that. 

AND, we hit a bit of a macabre anniversary between her and I early this month. Three years ago I was in a major rut and amid my ruminations, I needed to ask my friend, the recovering addict...why or how she was still alive, when it would've been to easy to not be.
