The Federation has a habit of keeping everything under tight control, especially communication and travel. When Faridah, Vaelena, and Anima receive word that they are to report to a nearby base about a mission, they have no idea what they are in for. Between the incredibly vague mission objective, their inability to contact anyone until it is over, and the strange captain they are to travel with, their day has taken a very strange turn indeed.
