Nowhere in the New Testament do we read anything about one man leading a congregation. The word pastor is referring to an elder or bishop. All three are the same role.I Timothy 1:2,18 – Paul repeatedly referred to Timothy as his son or his child in the faith. This seems to have been a term of endearment.
