Description:No matter who the person is, we all have a light and dark side. Everyday we have a choice of what side we want to show. In the early 70's Richard Nixon was recording himself and his personal because I didn't trust anyone, but what he said behind closed doors versus what he said while in public were two different things. He would go into deep darkness of his words and when the tapes were released, he was seen as a totally different person than he was seen in public. I think we all have that inner darkness and if we identify what it is, then we can live a much happier life. I went ahead and did some research as to what are common dark traits and a potential solution. Gossip. This is a person that rarely says anything positive about another person and every word that comes out of their mouth about someone not standing there is negative. The problem is it's easy to get sucked into this negative behavior because to find something good about the person you're talking about is harder than something that bothers you. But that's also the solution. Instead of looking at constant flaws, look at the things you do like and appreciate of that person. Success. We often get envious of others success and as such we begin to resent that person. But living in this negative world, only brings you down further and makes you more depressed. So the solution is to write out what your definition of success is. You will quickly realize what you want and what that person wants are much different. So the light side is the side we want to feel and express all the time. The next time we react with our negative side, we must identify how we are feeling, what is our common response and make an immediate adjustment. Our happiness depends on it.
