Pastor David Smith continues studying 1 Corinthians 6. The Apostle Paul begins to deal with a number of problems plaguing the church at Corinth. In chapter six he expresses his great disappointment in them for filing legal action against fellow Christians in the congregation rather than resolving these worldly matters “in house.” Such legal actions are to their shame and do nothing to enhance their witness to Jesus Christ to unbelievers. He also warns them to avoid the unrighteous who practice all manner of sin deliberately and without repentance. They are different. They are washed, sanctified and justified in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
