ABOUT CHRIS BOBER:

Chris was born and raised in South Omaha and attended St. Stan's. He lettered in football and baseball and was a member of the National Honor Society at Omaha South High School and a Goodrich Scholarship recipient. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and played for the school’s football team. Chris was the team captain his senior year and named an All American, All Midwest Region, and All North Central Conference while also earning the Most Valuable Lineman distinction in the NCC Conferenced and Division II.

Chris signed as a free agent with the New York Giants in 2000 but was released before the season started. He was re-added midseason and was a member of the 2000 NFC Champion and Super Bowl XLF Giants squad. His subsequent eight-year NFL career included starting 38 and playing in more than 100 games as New York Giant and Kansas City Chief. He retired in 2008 due to injuries and moved back to the Omaha area to start his real estate career.
