    What do you get when you mix a science-fiction first-person shooter with a roguelike? Yes, you read that correctly. This title developed by Blue  Manchu and published by Humble Bundle is a fusion of two genres that don't sound like they pair well together. That said, the one rule of this show is that we must complete an hour of gameplay before pronouncing judgment. Will this pairing be more like french fries and ice cream or more like chocolate and ketchup? Let's find out together!

    What do dinosaurs, robots, skeletons, werewolves and elemental creatures all have in common? Apparently a desire to punch and kick the crap out of each other.


    This reboot of the 1994 arcade fighter was developed by Double Helix Games and published by Microsoft as a free-to-play launch title for the Xbox One back in 2013. Over the years, numerous things have been added to the game and now it has been randomly selected by Xbox Game Pass for this episode. Have the years been kind to this over-the-top title? Will we be overcome with nostalgia? Most importantly, will we break lots of combos? Join us and find out!

    Where we're going... we're gonna need clean underwear.


    Tom has been planning to play this survivor horror title developed by Creative Assembly since it was published by Sega way back in 2014. Chris  has been doing his best to avoid its jump scares for just about as long. Needless to say, the two were quite surprised when Xbox Game Pass  randomly selected it for the show. Will this game live up to the anticipation? Will it capture the suspense and dread of the original film? Tune in and find out!

    Roguelite? 2D Twin-stick shooter? Daft Punk style pixel concert? Yes.


    We each take one hour of our busy lives and devote it exclusively to playing this 2D platform shooter created by Veewo Games. Will the retro feel of this title appeal to our old school roots? Will the neon tantalize, will the abyss consume? Will we demand our time back? We've heard that nostalgia is a heck of a drug, let's see what kind of role it plays in our decision to keep or trash this game.

    Guns and politically incorrect jokes, what could go wrong?


    Can we put a disclaimer in here? Playing this shooter developed by Devolver Digital‬ was not our decision and we place all blame (or perhaps credit) on the "Surprise Me" button included in Xbox Game Pass. Like Fallout 76, we took the opportunity to play this one cooperatively and it was a doozy. Will we be allowed to keep creating podcasts after this one airs? You better listen to it while you can!

    This one was NOT random, because we are two very big Toriyama-Stans!


    We were both interested in trying this Square Enix action RPG and it conveniently arrived on Xbox Game Pass. We could not squander an opportunity like that, so we gave the Surprise Me button some time off and made our own fate for this episode. After an hour of game time, will we feel like we made the right decision? Listen and find out!
