1-Hour Technicolor Dreamscape
This piece was made by taking footage I shot for a digital video class I took earlier this summer and reediting it in Adobe Premiere Pro. I used an old-timey film effect, then sharpened the visuals. I also played around with colors and effects like VR chromatic aberrations and the replication tool, which gives the video its surreal look. The video was originally just under 3 minutes, but I expanded it into an hour-long loop.
The soundtrack was made by taking the audio from that footage and digitally processing it with effects to create a hypnotic drone that goes along with the visuals. I previously used this idea on both Quadrochromatic and Septachromatic Noise Concerto. All things considered, I'm proud of how it turned out. It's very trippy, perfect for when you're stoned or on an acid trip. As John Lennon once said, turn off your mind, relax, and float downstream.
