Pastor David Smith continues the study in 1 John, beginning with verse 11. John carefully draws the comparison between those who believe in Jesus Christ and are in a right relationship with God versus those who do not believe and are not in such a relationship. Faith in Christ translates into a life of loving one’s neighbor. Without that faith there is the opposite-hatred of one’s neighbor. This is the way of the world.
