As John begins the last chapter of his epistle, he weaves together many themes including faith, love, the Holy Spirit, testimony, water and blood. In just a few verses he ties all these together around Jesus Christ. He affirms that our faith in Jesus Christ overcomes the world. Jesus Christ is the only One who tells us the truth. Jesus Christ is the only One who gives eternal life to all who believe.
