God freely chose Mary to be the Mother of his Son, Jesus. Mary freely responded to this invitation. Her spiritual motherhood extends to all the baptised. As God's adopted children, we can learn from Mary how to bring Christ to life through grace, catechesis, and our prayers for peace.
