Ben Mezrich has carved out a niche in narrative non-fiction around stories about people taking big risks, trading in financial markets, and advantage players in games like poker and blackjack. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991 and is the author of 23 books including the 2002 blockbuster New York Times bestseller, Bringing Down the House: The True Story of Six MIT Kids Who Took Vegas for Millions. He's also written about the founding of Facebook and the early days of Bitcoin. Today he joins us to talk about his most recent book, The Antisocial Network: The GameStop Short Squeeze and the Ragtag Group of Amateur Traders That Brought Wall Street to Its Knees.
