In this week's episode I explore the difference between thoughts and actions. Explaining passages like Matthew 5:27-30; James 1:13-15 and 2 Corinthians 5:5-11, we will notice the difference in the way God, while displeased by some of our thoughts and desires, reserves judgment for our actions. James 1:13-15 describes the process where thoughts and desires develop into damaging actions. We will also explore how to view God's reactions to our misbehaviors and how to best deal with them spiritually.

In this week's episode we explore a Biblical response to an agnostic's plea, "As long as your God is not warmth, touch and compassion, I will remain agnostic." Jesus responds to this question by explaining the parable of the Good Samaritan found in Luke 10: 25-37. Comparisons will be made to James 22:26 & Romans 3:8-10. The evidence of the new birth experience is growth in the fruit of the Spirit as explained by Paul in Galatians 5:22-26.  In this week's episode we will explore what Jesus meant when he commanded us in Luke 10:37 to "Go and do likewise."

 Christ's perception and evaluation of our lives may be different than our own. He sometimes sees things differently than we do. We will continue to reflect on and explore Jesus's main thoughts in Revelation 2:8-11 and 3:7-13. We will also be discussing Romans 2:4, 1 Corinthians 1:18 and Samuel 6:7. This discussion will present some suggestions to help better evaluate our personal experiences.

Any believer, from time to time can become complacent or lukewarm with the things of God. This can happen when varied circumstances negatively affect our peace of mind. Our understanding of Revelation 3:14-22 & Psalm 40:3 gives us some inspired suggestions how to wake up from our Spiritual malaise. Join me as we examine our own lives using God's word.
