What does it mean to live as God’s people in exile? In 1 Peter 1:13–25, we see four marks of the Christian life: hope set fully on Christ, holiness that reflects our Father, reverent fear shaped by the precious blood of the Lamb, and earnest love grounded in the imperishable Word. Together these form the portrait of a Passover People—ransomed, redeemed, and reconciled.
