Why does God allow His people to suffer? In 1 Peter 4:12–19, we learn that our trials aren’t random—they’re refining. God ordains them to purify His church, bless His people, display His glory, and strengthen our trust in Him. The same fire that tests our faith also proves its reality, because the God who allows the fire walks with us in it.
