"And now, how do I want to show up in this moment?" 

This one question will allow you to be the creator of your life in the moment, rather than responding to life you will start to notice, you have a choice. 

How you hold your posture, your eye contact, presence, tone, words, actions, inactions, facial expressions, etc. All of these are choices that we can consciously control; and when we choose how we want to present ourselves and respond to the world we will notice how the world tends to respond how we might hope.
