This week we'll begin our study through 1 Samuel and as we do so we will immediately meet several characters that we will learn much about. We'll be introduced to Elkanah and his two wives Penninah and Hannah, Eli and his two sons Hophni and Phinehas and then we'll see that a boy named Samuel will be born.

This week in particular we will be looking at Hannah and the difficulty that she faced in her life.
