However, Saul grows increasingly hateful as David’s success and popularity grow. The theme, "Kindred hearts versus jealousy," highlights how jealousy can destroy relationships and lead to sin. Despite Saul’s attempts to harm him, David remains faithful and humble. This chapter challenges us to guard our hearts against envy and honour God’s plan for others.
