April is 1SicB w/ IBD (Inflammatory bowel disease). When facing an autoimmune disease you often have a fear of how you're going to make ends meet. Jobs aren't friendly to making your own schedule and needing to take a nap during the day if needed. April is a Virtual Assistant that promotes and teaches how to become a virtual assistant. Allowing you to have the finances and flexibility when needed. April's cheerful, courageous outlook on having a career and  balancing IBD . Her willingness to share her personal journey and to let you know that it can be done with confidence is the reason I had to certify her 1SicB.

Parker K. Brown is a queen that started an organization for causes that are represented by the color purple. These causes are known as Domestic violence, Lupus, fibromyalgia and many others. Parker's stands to fight alongside many women that face these battles. She has created an app and website that allows women to get connected. Parker encourages other women to be entrepreneurs and financially stable with her lives and YouTube. Parker has created an Ave for all women to win regardless of setbacks that happen in life. This is the reason why I had to certify her 1SicB.

MS Scents candle co. Owner Latoya J. is 1SicB with MS. Latoya turned her pain and confusion about multiple sclerosis into power by creating MS Scents Candle Co. Not only does this queen create these great scented candles. She donates most of earnings to organizations that help warriors that are affected with Financially due to their MS. Latoya creating a product and business all fueled off of her journey and giving right back is why I had to certify her 1SicB. 

Shekita Green is 1SicB with NMO. What is NMO? NMO Neuromyelitis Optica ; is a condition that affects the central nervous system, particularly affecting the optic (eye) nerve and spinal cord. It can cause blindness, paralysis in legs or arms, loss of sensation and painful spasms. Shekita was diagnosed at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 She opens up about her truth of being a minority with NMO . Shekita is a fierce Queen who created a space for other NMO warriors by her Vlog . Her Vlogs embodies the definition of a 1SicB. So you know I had to certify her 1SicB.

Tell me Tuesday; When was your Jesus Year? Ashley M. Ratcliff describes Jesus Year as “The age at which one is officially too old for foolery.” Ashley‘s Jesus Year included being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This best-selling author has placed her transparency of her journey in a book to help other 1SicBs on their journey. To be courageous enough to share her journey with the world is why I had to certify her 1SicB. 

Dr. Monica Blied is a psychologist 1SicB with Systemic Lupus and fibromyalgia. When you being diagnosed with an illness and have grownup with religious core values you might question God with human heart why me. Dr. Monica Blied speaks on her personal journey with religion, diagnosis of two autoimmune diseases and her road to recovery. Her faith is why I had to certify her 1SicB.

Zenay is the Co founder of the "WeWin Foundation". The WeWin foundation is Lupus focused. Zenay speaks openly about her courageous fight with 7 autoimmune diseases and her battle with COVID this year. She worked as a paralegal before she became the overseer for her sister Tichina. Zenay definitely is about empowering the autoimmune suppressed community. She speaks on how she has only made it this far because of her faith in God. To go through these unimageable battles and still think of others so WeWIn. That alone was enough to be certified 1SicB.

Emmitt Henderson III is the" CEO Male Lupus Warriors Nonprofit Corp and Co-Founder The Lupus Dream Team. He has accomplished so much despite his lupus journey. Emmitt was Awarded Innovative Community Partnership Award in San Diego, Honoree for the Lupus Warrior Community Service award in Georgia and not to mention the Winner of the Mr. Lupus Arc Pageant in Houston Texas. This man has turned his pain into straight power to help other male lupus warriors thrive. Emmitt has overcome some unimaginable battles and continues to fight for other. This was the reason I had to certify him 1SicB. (Previously recorded in August of 2021)

Shae is a Photographer/clothing designer thriving w/MS. I had the pleasure of interviewing Shae earlier this June. She was thriving with the diagnosis of Lupus and MS for years. She spoke on living with an autoimmune disease and mental health. Shae source of strength, tenacity and fight is unimaginable. She never let the diagnosis stop her from being an awesome mother to a visually impaired daughter and a wife. Shae even started a clothing line called Popbox apparel .Shae is so dope, that's why I had to certify her as 1SicB. Fast forward to October, her doctor gave her the news that she didn't have Lupus, only MS. This was a happy moment but at the same time how many others have gone misdiagnosed. 3 of 5 1SicB guests have been misdiagnosed or go years w/o being diagnosed.
