After a week off we're back at it again, analyzing SKC's games against Chicago and RSL. We say farewell to the career of legendary Sporting center back Aurelien Collin and overanalyze the body language of our newest center back, Kortne Ford.

On the final episode of season 1, the gang talks about some of the best moments of the season and gives out the most prestigious award any SKC player could ask for, "The Onesie". From MVP to best beers on the podcast, we wrap up the season on a high note while looking forward to the future of SKC and 1 Sporting Way. 

Now that the off-season is here, 1 Sporting Way will be back in full swing come February when the season kicks off again. Keep an eye out for bonus episodes this winter because we still want to talk soccer when we can! 

Thank you to everyone who listened to us the last couple of months. We never thought anyone would tune in, let alone take us seriously. It has been an amazing time and we look forward to doing it all again next season! Keep tuning in because we aren't going anywhere!

. . . must come to an end. Sad music rings in the end of Sporting KC's season. We couldn't bring ourselves to provide a match recap so here it is: Johnny Russell converted a PK in the first half but a 91st-minute goal from substitute Bobby Wood sent Sporting KC to a 2-1 defeat after fellow substitute Anderson Julio had equalized in the 72nd minute. That hurt to write.

Sporting KC handled Vancouver in the first round and we were all there to see it - sort of. We bask in the glory of a dominant performance, including an absolute screamer from Graham Zusi, and take a look at some of Sporting's greatest ever goal scorers.

HERE WE GOOOO. The 1 Sporting Way Pod Squad officially finalized their MLS Cup playoffs bracket (which you can see on our Instagram). With the first round of playoffs starting this weekend, we talked through our picks, reported on soccer news around the country, and said goodbye to our all-time favorite SKC captain, Matt Besler, who just announced his retirement from professional soccer.

Sporting KC had a rough week, losing their third game in a row after not losing in back-to-back games all season. BUT... the MLS regular season is officially over and SKC finished third in the Western Conference. On this episode, Remi and Dave try to keep things positive, even after Riley is out with unexpected car problems. Can Sporting bounce back in time for their first playoff game in a few weeks? We aren't sure, but we'll be cheering them on with all our might regardless.
