25 Brothers and sisters, pray for us. 26 Greet all God’s people with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters.28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.REFLECTIONSWritten by Amy MorrisonIt is easy to skip over the final greeting in the letters, but even here we can learn from Paul. I am struck by the feeling of family here among God’s people. He implores them as brothers and sisters to pray for him. They are to greet each other warmly (perhaps an elbow bump is more suitable than a “holy kiss” nowadays, but the warmth is the same!). He wants the letter to be shared amongst all the brothers and sisters. How great it is to be able to call one another brothers and sisters through the grace the Lord Jesus Christ has shown to each of us!ABOUT THE AUTHORAmy Morrison is part of our Fairfield Morning Church while she and her husband study at Moore College.
