The Number One Thing To Start Doing to Change Your Life
-It’s About Intentionality.
-It’s About recognizing that what you have seen isn’t the way things have to be
-The Habits I’m About to Tell You About Are the Ingredients to Changing Your Life
-I Know That You Know “Greatness is just a bunch of little things done over and over”
-If you are looking at social media, texting, or your email right when you wake up, please see how this is not helping you. Please see why it matters.
-If you spend 10 minutes scrolling in the morning, that’s 70 minutes a week.
-You can already imagine how much further you could be in a book if you read for an extra hour a week. (10 min a morning)
-More importantly though, how is that taking care of yourself, energetically?
-Guys, if you don’t understand the concept of spiritual nourishment, imagine if you just fed yourself and drank water like 1-3 times a week! Your organs, hormones, muscles, would be getting NOT WHAT THEY NEED TO OPERATE.
-This might sound like a physical analogy, but it applies to your spirit. If you poured orange juice into your car, would it work? To be perfectly honest I don’t know the answer. I don’t know if it would work until it ran out, or if it would break on the spot, or run for a mile and then break…I don’t know! But I know if you put orange juice in the tank every time you became empty, it eventually would stop working.
-“BUT YOU WERE FILLING IT UP!” Right, but that’s not the nourishment it needs.
-You can be full, and die of starvation.
-What this means spiritually is that you must start saying no. You must start saying, no I am not going to go there, do that, watch that, listen to that, because my mind has been racing non stop and I am craving stillness.
-Pro Tip- Seek stillness before you think you need stillness.
-Your body, your intuition, God, your concious, jimmy cricket, angels-are ALWAYS TALKING TO YOU. Call it a burning in the heart, a gut knowingness, a prompting, a still small voice…these are all quiet whispering. And so I think nothing should be more of a priority than quiet time.
-Connecting time.
-It’s all that really matters guys! We are going to live FOREVER. But we are only on earth for a short time in the scheme of things. We must remember
what we came here to do.
-The only thing that is really true, is love and peace. Anything that isn’t love is a worry of the world.
-Jesus Christ promises peace, and it can be more simple than we make it. But it’s up to you to invite the peace.
-That is why the way you start your morning is vital.
-What would your life look like in 5 months, if every morning you had just 10 minutes of journaling about the kind of person you wanted to be that day, about your priorities, about what relationships you wanted to focus on that day, about sitting in silence and listening to empowering music or meditating or reading the scriptures.
-Why wouldn’t you connect, when God is literally waiting to talk to you and bless you? He is always reaching out, but we have to pause.
-What if however you were brought up, or whatever you see around you, is just a repeating lifestyle because of habit?
-You can change a habit. Nobody is setting your alarm clock but you. :) I want you to take time for connecting in the morning because you will begin to see the things you worry about do not matter as much as you thought, and you will begin to remember what is important in life.
