In this inaugural episode of the Gaining Health Podcast, Karli Burridge speaks with Dr. Angela Fitch about what obesity medicine is and what obesity medicine specialists do on a day-to-day basis. 
 
 Dr. Fitch is the Associate Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Weight Center and faculty at Harvard Medical School. She is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and obesity medicine, and is the President of the Obesity Medicine Association.
 
 In this episode, Karli and Angela talk  about obesity medicine, the awkward moment when you're at a party and  someone asks you what you do professionally (I swear, I don't normally eat like this!), and what excites Angela about the future of this exciting medical field.
