Bio: Dr. Amy Whitney is the Director of the UND Center for Innovation (CFI), a vibrant business incubator at the University of North Dakota supporting entrepreneurs across North Dakota, as well as UND students and faculty in Grand Forks. Her professional, teaching and research experience is focused on business innovation, creativity, entrepreneurial activity, and high impact applied learning. The CFI helps innovators advance ideas through startup coaching and creative thinking facilitation. Dr. Whitney is a certified National NSF I-Corps instructor and is the lead instructor for the Great Plains I-Corps hub. She also is the lead instructor for the UND Innovation By Design course, a National Security Innovation Network program.
