Powerful meditation to elicit the Relaxation Response.  Almost all of my students from teens to seniors love this meditation. It's great for whenever you're feeling overwhelmed or when you're going through very challenging times. It's also a great reminder of the most important thing: that resisting what's happening adds more suffering to any situation. It also reminds us that if we accept whatever is going on in our internal or external lives, that is when we can decide whether we can take action to change the situation or accept the situation if it is out of our hands. Meditation teacher and psychologist Tara Brach refers to this  "radical acceptance",
