On this day, the fourth Sunday of Pascha, we remember the Paralytic, and appropriately celebrate the miracle worked on him.

Verses
The word of the Christ was a brace for the Paralytic.
Thus, his cure by mere utterance was accomplished.

In Your infinite mercy, O Christ our God, have mercy on us. Amen.

On this day, the third Sunday reckoned from Pascha, we celebrate the feast of the holy Myrrh-bearing Women. Furthermore, we commemorate Joseph of Arimathea, who was a secret disciple; and also Nicodemos, the disciple by night.

Verses
The women disciples brought ointments to Christ.
And I bring, as ointment, a hymn to them.

At the intercession of the holy Myrrh bearers, O God, have mercy on us. Amen.

On the holy and great Sunday of Pascha we celebrate the very life-bearing Resurrection of our Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Verses
Christ went down alone to battle Hades,
He came up taking with Him many spoils of vict’ry.

To Him be the glory and the dominion to the ages of ages. Amen.

THE SERVICE OF THE HOURS ON GREAT AND HOLY FRIDAY.

On this day, Holy and Great Friday, we celebrate the awesome, holy, and saving Passion of our Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ: the spitting, the blows, the buffeting, the mockery, the reviling, the purple robe, the reed, the sponge, the vinegar, the nails, the spear, and above all, the Cross and Death which He condescended to endure willingly for our sakes. Also the saving confession on the cross of the grateful Robber who was crucified with Him.

Verses for the Crucifixion
Even dead on the Cross, You as God are living,
O naked corpse and living God’s Logos.

For the grateful Robber
The Robber opened the locked gates of Eden
Using the key of his “Remember me” confession.

By Your enormous and all-infinite compassion for us, O Christ God, have mercy on us. Amen.
