"Start Right, End Right"
The one thing that will change your daily energy, mood and the way you handle stress is the way you start your morning.
So many of us in health care are tired, mentally and physically. We know work processes need to change, but that takes time. The way to create a more personal vitality and productivity is to know how to create the right physical and mental mindset that gives more energy so we don’t get burned out. One of the essential paths to doing this is by creating an empowering morning routine.
The majority of the best performers in any field whether it's a CEO, elite athlete, an effective parent or clinician, have an empowering morning routine. This is one area I overlooked for many years, and ever since I started creating a customized morning routine, my performance and productivity escalated.
Doctors have asked me how they can improve their work performance, thinking I’ll tell them about a workflow strategy, but it’s not that. It’s the way they are mentally fit when they show up at work and at home. The way you are in one are of your life affects all areas of your life.
In this podcast I'll share with you how I created my own, because I really needed to change the way I was showing up; I am not a morning person. I'll also share critical tips so that you can customize a routine that works for you. We all are different, so customization is necessary.
In this episode, I'll also uncover some research-based habits that have an enormous impact. For example, creating a proper gratitude practice, how kindness create happiness and much more.
Nothing changes your results and communications by the way you prime yourself mentally, physically and spiritually from the start. If you start your day right, you will end your day right! The first 30 minutes of your day determines how you can handle people, problems and challenges throughout your day. I'm confident you will find this podcast extremely helpful.
