If you have ever dreamed of working in TV, or in front of a camera, our next Mama Mentor got her start in a reality TV show called the MOLE. A show which kick-started her TV career. She competed against 12 other contestants and despite being the youngest, won. It was one of the first reality shows on TV, that led her to a long career on our screens. But TV star Liz Cantor first made waves in Australia as a competitive surfer. Sponsored by Billabong, her surfing career took her all over the world to compete. In 2003 she was also the first female Surf Judge to travel internationally on the World Surf League.

Since then there is nothing Liz Cantor hasn’t had a crack at, with nearly 20 years experience in live television. From making peoples dreams come true being Lotto Liz hosting the Powerball, 7News Gold Coast Weather, Creek to Coast and Weekender and in 2016 she gained the title 2 x Reality TV Show winner! After winning another reality show. 'Living Stone – Botswana' was screened internationally and saw Liz and husband Ryan represent Australia, surviving starvation and the wilderness of Africa, against couples from England, New Zealand, America, South Africa and The Middle East.

Shes also been in BLUEY! As ‘Weather Presenting Pup’ and movies as well, one of my favorites ‘Getting Squared”, the sequel Spit comes out next year.

More recently Liz swapped TV stations to join Channel 10 presenting weather weeknights and she may be the first woman in Australia to appear on two networks at the same time, still staying with her 7 show Weekender. That is the power of just asking.

Liz gives everything a go and loves adventure, there is so much to learn from Liz.
