2. But in less than 12 months, Clubhouse, an invite-only iPhone app based around voice (audio) rather than visual posts, is nearing a 1 billion dollar valuation. 

3. The platform’s founders write that they plan to use the new funds “to make the product better each day and to help creators on Clubhouse thrive”.
