In this episode, Neal and Judy set out to dialogue about religion for the first time ever in their six-year friendship with Roberto. His story will have to wait for episode 11 because a conversation about why they had never had this conversation took over episode 10. As you listen to them discuss their relationship you might find yourself wondering why you don’t just ask your friends how they feel about having conversations you have assumed would be too difficult. It turns out that conversations around conflicting beliefs don’t have to be avoided or dreaded. In fact, their impact might be more life-giving than you imagine. They could never adequately describe it, but you can listen, and if you look deeply enough into what’s happening to these three humans and their friendship, you will get a whole new picture of what’s possible.
