Good day to all listeners and readers of the Travel think share podcast!
Today I am in Wroclaw and I want to tell you about the shopping mall of Wroclawia. It is located near Wrocław's main railway station. the closest entrances to the station and the shopping mall are separated by only 20-30 meters, it is enough just to cross a narrow road. The bus station is even closer, in the shopping mall itself, or rather, under it. So this shopping mall can be your first introduction to the city.
Its construction began in 2015, on the site of the old bus station, and lasted for several years.
Its architecture differs from other shopping malls in Wroclaw. It is more spacious, with rounded transitions, externally lined with glass panels.
Its content is more or less standard. Here you can buy clothes, from outerwear to underwear, for everyone, for adults and children, for teenagers, and for women, of course. You can also buy electronics and other various household appliances here.
I will return to the description of how to approach here. As I said, one entrance is opposite the entrance to Wrocław's main train station, the other can be found if you walk north along the street. The landmark will be a large oak with a wide crown and benches that form a semicircle. if you sit on this long bench, behind you will be this oak and some other greenery, and in front of you will be the entrance. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop on this side.
there is another, third entrance, somewhere off the back street, but I only used it once.
The entrance is covered by a large arched roof.
Also, on the side of the railway station, there is a type of ledge on the first floor, which forms a canopy, and which serves as a kind of protection for passers-by from bad weather.
This place is always crowded. This is facilitated by the location of the shopping mall.
Now it's summer, it's warm, and there are quite a lot of people. Someone is in a hurry on business, mothers are walking with children who behave differently: some are fussy, some are calm, some are cheerfully noisy.
People are dressed easily in summer. Young women and girls dress brightly, very often in short skirts, shorts, tight blouses. There is something to see! Men are dressed more modestly, I did not notice extravagant models.
Cars and trams pass by. Life goes on!
I would also like to add that this shopping mall also has a grocery store, jewelry, and all sorts of other things.
This is a brief description of one place in Wroclaw.
And the traditional thought-reflection of today's issue:
Don't focus on what's missing, enjoy what you have.
