What does it really feel like to try to make things better?
100 Voices: How Better Feels is a podcast about healthcare improvement, told through the experiences of the people who live it.
Patients, carers, staff, clinicians, improvers and leaders share the stories we don't hear often enough.
Not polished success stories. Not the textbook version of improvement.
The doubts. The courage. The mistakes. The moments that change us. The people who help us keep going. And the reasons we carry on.
Because making care better isn't only about methods, measures and processes. It's about people.
These are stories from people who have lived it, tried it, struggled with it and kept going.
Across the series, you'll hear honest conversations about quality improvement, patient safety, patient and carer involvement, health inequalities, leadership, culture, data, change and improving care.
Stories to help us learn from one another, see things differently and, perhaps most importantly, feel a little less alone.
This is 100 Voices. This is How Better Feels.

What does it feel like to make healthcare better?
100 Voices: How Better Feels shares honest conversations about the human side of improving healthcare and…
What happens when you see something that could be better and decide to try to change it? When you speak up and aren’t heard? When things don’t go to plan? When you get something wrong, learn something unexpected, or wonder whether to carry on?
These aren’t polished success stories. They’re honest conversations about trying to improve care: making healthcare safer, improving people’s experiences, challenging how things are done and learning what really helps change happen.
Because quality improvement isn’t just about methods and measures. It’s about people, and the different experiences, perspectives and knowledge they bring. Sometimes hearing someone else’s story can help us see something differently, feel less alone or find the courage to try something ourselves.
If you care about making healthcare better, these stories are for you. You might work in the NHS or another health system, be involved in quality improvement, patient safety or healthcare leadership, bring your own experience as a patient, carer or family member, or simply be curious about how change really happens.
