Our 100th episode!! This one is a recorded interview with the late banjo legend Wade Mainer and his wife, Julia ("Hilbilly Lilly") Mainer- in an interview conducted by folk legend Mike Seeger. Wade was a pre-Earl Scruggs fingerstyle (2-finger) banjoist, and became a legendary country performer and a major influence on early bluegrass music. He even performed at the White House for Franklin Delano and Eleanor Roosevelt!

This recording is from Midwest Banjo Camp 2007, and I have retained the only known copy ever since. It is unedited, except for some processing to improve audio quality.
