Bob and Harper have a great time visiting with World Champion, Carlos Palomino as they discuss his life and career. Carlos moved from meager beginnings in Sanora, Mexico to Tijuana to Santa Ana, California as a young boy. His father taught him to box as a youngster. As a teenager, Carlos wanted to play second base for his hometown Dodgers, but he didn't play baseball after his freshman year in high school. While in the Army, Carlos boxed in tournaments and won on several occasions. Before long, he was fighting professionally and in the mid-1970's, he was one of the best boxers on earth.
