Steven and Harper hear of Dan Chowlowsky's great love for athletics from an early age.  Moving from Yonkers, NY to San Jose as a 7 year old brought some change to Dan's life.  He moved to a neighborhood where playing sports was all a young boy would want to do to fit in.  Dan played football, and baseball into high school and ended up forgoing the MLB draft to play at Cal.  His three years there was a great experience that ended with him being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.  His minor league career help get him into scouting where he is currently a part of the Cincinnati Reds organization.  Listen in to Dan's very unique story...

Hall Of Fame third baseman, Eddie Matthews, was a 2-time World Series Champion.  His 17 year career was an example for many.  He played the game and then managed to the best of his ability.  Join Bob and Harper as they hear the personal stories and tales from Darrell Evans who played for Eddie in Atlanta. Eddie's contribution to the game is masterfully told by Darrell in a way that allows you to be there with him.  We thank Eddie Matthews for being a childhood hero and the legacy he left for all.

Bob and Harper have a great time visiting with World Champion, Carlos Palomino as they discuss his life and career.   Carlos moved from meager beginnings in Sanora, Mexico to Tijuana to Santa Ana, California as a young boy.  His father taught him to box as a youngster.  As a teenager, Carlos wanted to play second base for his hometown Dodgers, but he didn't play baseball after his freshman year in high school.  While in the Army, Carlos boxed in tournaments and won on several occasions.  Before long, he was fighting professionally and in the mid-1970's, he was one of the best boxers on earth.  Listen in as he tells the guys about his fascinating life...
