I know I come off (at times) as surly, brusque, aloof, misanthropic and on and on, but I actually do have quite a bit a friends. Maybe not currently (not true), but people I go back with for years.

Sam is one of those people. 

He started working in radio in Detroit shortly after I started there. 

He, like me last year, just lost his job. 

He, not like me, is the most eternally positive human being you'll ever meet. Or in this case, listen to, as you will right now.
