#101 - Is It Weird To Study Sexuality

Listen Later

This is a controversial episode—skip it if you can’t handle that.
I just finished a client call and felt compelled to make this episode. If you're listening, you're part of the small percentage that seeks to expand your understanding, and I commend that. But I know many won't discuss this with friends out of fear or misunderstanding.
Before we dive into sensitive topics, I want to emphasize: at SQL, we always preach 100% consent between two adults.
Now, if you're new to the podcast, this next statement may shock you—many women have r*pe fantasies, and some are attracted to murderers, rapists, and serial killers. Not all women, but a significant percentage. (Check out “My Secret Garden” by Nancy Friday.)
It’s not about the criminal act but the traits these men share—power, control, and doing what they want when they want. These traits can be highly attractive, which explains why some women fall for these criminals (see “Love After Lockup”).
There’s plenty of evidence and psychological studies backing this, and I’ve dedicated a large section of my upcoming book to this phenomenon, showing how it can help build stronger, deeper relationships.
In today’s episode, we’ll cover:
- The 3 S’s of sexuality
- How to discuss sexuality with friends
- The connection between talking about sex and money
- Plus more!
