Our worth primarily comes from our parents growing up. Especially our fathers, so when we don't have a loving, faithful, caring father it's hard to feel a strong sense of self worth. This is why I love that God is our perfect, heavenly father who truly gives us our identity and value! No matter what kind of earthly father you have, your heavenly father gets the final say in who you are (and he has great things to say about you!)
