Michelle Salt is a 2x Paralympic Snowboarder, the first female Canadian Paralympic Snowboarder, 13x World Cup medalist and 3x National Champion. She also helped pioneer the official sport of Adaptive Wake Surfing in 2018 and became 2x National Champion Silver Medalist in the sport. She’s a Skidoo ambassador, Sky Diver, Accessibility Advocate, Keynote Speaker, world traveler and adventurist. In 2011, Michelle had a life-threatening motorcycle accident that resulted in the loss of her right leg above the knee. As she navigated the rocky journey of re-inventing herself, Michelle remained determined that she would not be defined by loss, but rather, her resiliency, adaptability and grit.
