You probably never heard of Sunday Jackson. But Christiansaround the world need to learn about him, as he faces grave injustice in Nigeria. The Christian farmer was set upon by an armed Fulani Islamist, just like thousands of Christians who lost their lives at the hands of armed Fulani. But Sunday defended himself and prevailed over his attacker, who would later succumb to his injuries.
For the crime of defending himself, Sunday Jackson hasreceived a capital sentence and is set to be hanged. Injustice is too soft a word for this legal monstrosity. In essence, Nigerian Christians are not allowed to defend themselves. Meanwhile, Islamists who are captured on video celebratingactual crimes are granted their freedom.
Joining us to understand the two tier legal system in Nigeria is Zariyi Yusuf. He will help you understand what happened with Sunday Jackson and other Nigerian Christians suffering under an unjust legal system. Please join us in praying for Sunday Jackson and agitating to see him freed. Alsocontact your own country’s leaders to intercede on Sunday’s behalf. God willing, we will see Sunday Jackson freed.
