From Magnolia Bluffs Casino and Hotel, it’s Magnolia Madness on Jimmy Ott’s Gametime! Jimmy recaps the sports weekend and reacts to LSU’s NCAA tournament matchup against the Michigan Wolverines with a Sweet 16 berth on the line!

Former Tiger Anthony Ranaudo led the  hour talking Tigers baseball. Matt previewed LSU’s match-up with Michigan in the round of 32. Father Michael Allelo joined the show to pray for the Tigers. Jimmy Ott had Otter Locks. The guys shared what they learned.

Matt started his weekly segment with Anthony Ranaudo by asking how he would approach pitching against LSU’s line-up. They talked about how you recover as a pitcher after Hill and Marceaux’s starts Friday and Saturday. Matt asked Anthony about his take on the upside of the Tigers moving forward as well.

Matt led the hour by getting a preview of LSU vs Michigan from the Wolverine’s perspective with Isaiah Hole. Matt talked about Sheldin Rankins finding his way to the Jets. The idea of a segment called “Uni-Watch” was tested. Brain had Tigers in The Pro.

Matt led the show by recapping LSU Basketball’s win over St. Bonaventure in the NCAA Tournament. He broke down LSU Baseball’s series with Mississippi State. Matt went around the SEC He talked about the NFL holding their draft in person in Cleveland this year.
