While we were preparing for the new season, I’ve been working on my plant mom skills. I’ve been watching an orchid that had died over the summer prepare to flower again. It’s not going exactly as I planned, though.

I realized there was learning in this for us, too, and this episode provides the reminder we all need to pause and celebrate progress.
