We cannot completely negate the harm we can cause. But what we can do is mitigate with intention. For instance, it is a widely accepted position in the scientific community that we are beyond avoiding the effects of human-caused climate change, but we ought to keep working to mitigate the harm done. Josh says we should be thinking of church in the same way.
