Victoria Wilson is a Nurse of 41 years, Administrator of an Ambulatory Surgery Center, soon to be 5x National athlete and… MY MOM! Today we chat about where her fitness competition journey started and how her perception of what health was vastly changed as she grew through the sport. We talk in depth about how competing in fitness competitions helped her overcome bulimia, helped build belief in her capacity to achieve things outside her comfort zone and shifted her perspective of herself from being weak and broken, to empowered, strong and capable of anything she puts her mind too. As she’s now on the precipice of becoming a Pro Athlete at age 61 in the IFBB Bikini Division of Bodybuilding, we reflect on how doing the very thing she thought she could never do, unlocked everything she needed to elevate her life to places she always dreamed.
