Alrighty, guys! Welcome back to another exciting episode of The Creative Marketing Zone Podcast! Gosh, it feels so good to say that again and be back in a weekly routine here.
If this is your first time tuning in then welcome! My name is Eric Koch (rhymes with watch) and I am your host of this awesome weekly show in which I get to interview leading marketing gurus who share their ninja hacks as we like to call it here. It is my goal that you can stop by here each week and learn something new and apply it back into your business to help you grow – for free!
And if you are a repeat listening friend of the show, as always, welcome back! I am always super thrilled that you have chosen me to be in your ear each week wherever you are.
As I mentioned at the beginning of last week's interview with Josh Elledge on PR hacks to help you get media famous, I went on a two-month hiatus. I needed time to sort things out and get back on track in my personal life in which I somewhat opened up about in episode 100, which got a lot of positive responses.
Well, I am back, and feeling better than I have ever felt! Maybe it is the hot yoga classes. Or maybe it is me just having a renewed spark and being more focused than ever. Who knows, I am just glad to be here with you and continue to go on this journey wherever this may lead.
A lot of people did reach out to me over the past few months who were listeners of the show and previous guests which I was truly delighted to hear from. It just speaks to the power of this platform. I mean two years ago I never would have met any of these people virtually and in many cases in person. I have built some amazing friendships, partnerships, relationships and so much more!
And speaking of relationships this is a perfect segue for today's awesome show for I have the privilege of bringing on JoAnne Funch (rhymes with lunch), founder of Linked In For Business on the show with us today!
JoAnne is an expert at transforming professionals from making random connections on LinkedIn to strategic high-value contacts that result in more profitable and long-term opportunities. In a world of digital marketing, JoAnne inspires business professionals to think differently about how they develop their connections, engage their contacts, and grow their business.
I should also mention that JoAnne has been featured in many prominent publications and media outlets sharing her tips, such as Social Media Examiner, Business2Community, and so much more!
You guys are in for a treat today for sure. Some of the big takeaways I got in which you will I am sure to pick up on and learn include:
