She Doesn't Settle

106: Stop Settling in Your Career

Listen Later

I can't tell you just how ecstatic I am to be back for today's episode after my brief break. Over the past month, I have taken some time to reflect upon exactly how I'm serving people, and the theme that I am constantly drawn back to is helping people create change in their lives, and bringing in the things that I do best to help make that positive change. So, I'm back today to continue this mission and help you all get to a new place without feeling overwhelmed and giving up.

Today's episode is about career, priorities, and approaching change. I start by discussing the burnout people face in their work life and how to prevent getting to that boiling point, and then share a few details about my new program regarding careers that is starting early next year. We'll also look at the post-pandemic statistic of 4 million people quitting their jobs, to prioritize wellness, family, and work conditions, and delve into the need to take action and avoid the trap of thinking for too long and not doing anything. The episode concludes with a look at having a strategy for change, as well as tackling the fear of change, the self-critical thoughts, and the grief of changing. Once again, I am so excited to be back so that we can continue to work together and help you achieve the success you so richly deserve and make certain that you don't settle for anything less.

And, as always, if there is ever a topic you would like me to discuss, a guest you'd like me to interview on the podcast, or feedback you wish to offer, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] - I would love to hear from you!
