In this Women's History Month special episode, Luis speaks to Brittney Castro. Brittney is a leading speaker, host, and brand ambassador and has worked alongside top brands like Chase, Mint, ETrade, CNBC, Gemini, AirBnB, Zoom, Altruist, Refinery29, and more to promote financial literacy via media interviews, video content, celebrity, and expert interviews, TV appearances and more.

At the age of 22, Brittney began her career as a financial advisor and at 28 launched her own Registered Investment Advisory, Financially Wise Inc. Over those 15 years, she worked with thousands of clients on their financial journeys. In 2020, she sold her private practice to focus all her time on speaking, content creation, and brand partnerships.

Brittney was elected one of the 40 under 40 in 2020 by Investment News, as one of the 22 "Women To Watch" by InvestmentNews in 2018, and was ranked on INVESTOPEDIA's Top Influential Financial Advisors list from 2017-2021.

Additionally, Brittney serves as the in-house CFP® for Mint as well as the Head of Education for Altruist, both roles where she can continue her efforts of spreading financial literacy to the masses through media interviews, video content, and social media campaigns.

She is a CFP® Pro spokeswoman as part of the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning's campaign to educate minorities about financial planning careers.

​

In 2021, Brittney co-hosted and produced "Chantel's Money Moves" a show backed by Facebook to teach Gen Z's personal finance and investing.
