In this episode I am joined by by Dr. Meera Shah, a family medicine physician, chief medical officer of New York’s Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic and author of “You’re the Only One I’ve Told: The Stories Behind Abortion”.
In this essential conversation Dr. Shah educates us on all things regarding abortion. She provides information about the abortion process, the abortion options that are available(and how to get access to them), and how abortion restrictions vary from state to state. Together we talk about what it means for minors to receive an abortion and the judicial bypass, what it would mean for different states if Roe vs. Wade is reversed and her book, “You’re the Only One I’ve Told: The Stories Behind Abortion”. Dr. Shah provides us with many different resources on where to learn more and how to get help and support.
