This morning, quoting Rabbi Eliakim Koenigsberg, we explore the balance between uniformity of practice within a community in order to remove jealousy and competition vs. unique person initiative and creative self-expression to all oneself a personal connection to God. We see this balance both at the beginning and end of our Parsha, Nasso. Both are necessary, balance is key.
